  1. What is Blink?

    Blink is a better way to navigate the Web. It delivers targeted Internet search results when you enter keywords directly into you browser address bar or whenever you can't find the website you are looking for.

  2. Why should I use Blink's desktop software?

    Blink helps you navigate the web more easily since you can search directly from the address bar. That means that even when you type a URL that does not exist, instead of your browser returning a blank page, you'll get a page of relevant search results.

  3. Why are sponsored search results on Blink.com search pages?

    We believe that in some cases sponsored listings are more relevant depending on the search term. For example, if you're searching for "new leather shoes" it's more likely that you'll want to find a place that sells leather shoes, not a site that tells you the history of leather shoes, or a site which explains how to make leather shoes.

    Sponsored listings are better for shopping while natural search results are usually better for research.

  4. Do you collect personal identifiably information?

    We never have and we never will. We have no idea who you are, and for the sake of your privacy, we intend to keep it that way.

  5. Does this software cost anything? Are there hidden fees, or is there a trial period?

  7. What are the minimum system requirements for Blink?

    In order to install Blink on your desktop you will need Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP Home, or Windows XP Pro. If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP you will need administrator access before you can install Blink.

  8. What browsers currently support Blink?

    For the time being, only versions of Internet Explorer v5.0 or higher currently support Blink Search.

  9. Where do the search results for Blink come from?

    The results you see are provided by Yahoo!

  10. Will Blink affect my toolbars or other IE add-ons?

    Blink shouldn't interfere with any other toolbars you might have installed.

  11. What does that "B" button on my browser do?

    That's the Blink button. It takes you directly to Blink.com with just one click!

  12. What is this grey text that sometimes shows up in my address bar?

    That tells you that Blink is active and ready to bring you the search results you need. Don't worry, it'll only display the first few times you open your browser window after you install Blink and then you'll never see it again.

  13. Is there a way to remove the Blink Button?

    Absolutely. To remove the button, go to the Start Menu, all programs, Blink Search, and open the Blink Options Panel. Uncheck "Show Blink Button on IE toolbar" and click "OK". Make sure to close your browser and then restart in order for this change to take effect.

  14. Can I turn Blink off?

    Yes, it's easy. To turn Blink off, go to the Start Menu, all programs, Blink Search, and open the Blink Options Panel. Uncheck "Search Activated" and click "OK".

  15. How do I restore Blink to the default settings?

    It's pretty simple. To do this, go to the Start Menu, all programs, Blink Search, and open the Blink Options Panel. Click "restore default settings", and then click OK. You're done!

  16. How do I fully uninstall Blink?

    To uninstall Blink, please follow the steps below:

    1. Click on Start.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Click on Control Panel.
    4. Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
    5. Select the Blink Application.
    6. Click on the Add/Remove button.
    7. Once the program has uninstalled, click on the OK button.

    After completing all of these steps, please reboot the computer. This will have removed Blink from your system.

  17. Will I need to download and install newer versions of Blink?

    There is never a need to download and install Blink again once installed initially. If you have allowed Automatic Updates, Blink automatically checks our servers periodically for a new version. If a new version is found, it will be automatically downloaded and installed for you. If you have turned off the Automatic Updates option, make sure to check back with us periodically to see if there is a newer version of Blink available.
